Ultrasound Therapy

Ultrasound therapy is an effective, non-invasive form of treatment performed on tissues damaged by injury or disease. The treatment involves the podiatrist applying a special gel to the affected area onto which a piece of equipment known as a transducer is placed. The transducer head is moved around continually for a period of time, usually 15 minutes. It is a fast and painless treatment for a range of musculoskeletal and soft tissue aches and pains.
